Producers
A honeycomb right up to the edges, with translucent honey in the cells: hold it up to the light and it glows. For a honey seller (example name).
Custom keychains
Tell us who it's for: their dog, their surf break, their trade, an in-joke. Our design agents model a one-off keychain in real CAD, a person checks it, and you see a proof first. You only pay when you love the proof.
One fixed price per design, from the price shown below, plus NZ shipping. No quote to wait for.
Examples
These are renders of sample designs made from short example briefs. Each has its own colour scheme, and each was modelled in CAD and checked against the same print rules as your order. The business names on them are made up for these examples, not our customers.

“Our border collie Pip, one ear up and one tipped over.” Black and white markings side by side, drawn from the description.

An old-school adjustable spanner whose jaw slides, for a car repair shop (example name).

Gifts
A hinged locket: initials inside, seen through a heart-shaped window when it's closed.
Hobbies
A compass dial that spins, under snowy peaks, for a tramper. (For looks: it isn't a working compass.)
How it works
Who it's for, what it should be about, any words on it. A photo helps but isn't needed. It's free and commits you to nothing.
Our design agents sketch ideas, model the chosen one in real CAD and check it against our print rules: wall thickness, lettering size, the keyring hole.
A person checks the proof before it's sent to you. Ask for changes (two rounds are included) or approve it and pay. Not for you? Just say no. You haven't paid anything.
We print it, a person inspects it by hand, and we post it from Christchurch, New Zealand.
Moving parts (gears that turn, dials that spin, sliding jaws, hinged lockets) are printed in one piece, nothing to assemble. We're still test-printing them, so ask in your brief and we'll tell you honestly what's ready.
For keys and bags, not a toy and not for under-3s (small parts). Pocket tough; we don't make outdoor or strength claims we haven't tested.
Your reference is . We'll email you a proof, usually within a few working days. Nothing to pay until you approve it.
Payment cancelled: nothing was charged. Your proof link still works while it's open.
Moonbench is a very small workshop. Our designs are drawn up by software design agents. They model each piece in real CAD tools and check it will print well. They don't generate pictures. They also help with the busy work: checking what you've asked for, preparing print files and keeping track of orders.
A person looks over every order before it's made, and checks the finished pieces before they're posted. If something isn't right, a person decides what happens next, not a bot.
We'll always tell you plainly what we can and can't promise about a thing we make.
